Northstar at Tahoe offers hotel accommodations and multi-bedroom villas condos and homes on the north side of Lake Tahoe. The Reno/Tahoe airport is approximately 45 minutes away. Each winter, the onsite ski school and ski shop help guests of all skill levels hit the slopes. In addition to downhill skiing, athletically inclined guests can enjoy snowboarding, snow shoeing, snowmobiles, and cross-country skiing. For summer fun, the Recreation Center offers a pool, lap pool, tennis courts, three outdoor whirlpools, an arcade, fitness center, and adults-only clubhouse. If you are looking for a challenge, The Adventure Park awaits brave visitors with a climbing wall and several ropes courses. Guests will find several resort restaurants open all year and several others open during the ski season. The Timbercreek Restaurant offers fine Californian cuisine with a Pacific Rim twist. The Martis Valley Grille is a lively destination for themed family-style buffets. The Village Food Company is your solution for quick snacks, light meals, and a variety of grocery items. There are several winter-only dining destinations, ranging from a casual pizza joint to dining on top of the slopes. There are 260 guest units at the resort. Room types range from standard hotel-style guestrooms to five, six-bedroom homes. Standard rooms are located in the Village while all other accommodation types are located in the surrounding area, from a quarter-mile to three miles from the Village. Kitchens feature dishes, utensils, cookware, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, towels, soap, and detergent. Every room offers a telephone, television, VCR, and washer/dryer access.
